What does the site collect?
Nothing that identifies you. The pages are pre-built HTML files, and copying an install command happens in your browser. When you click Copy or Download, the page sends one anonymous count (which button, which page, and the country reported by the network provider) so the editorial team can see which instructions people use. No cookie, IP address or visitor id is stored with it.
Who hosts the site?
Vercel hosts the site and processes the standard request data needed to serve pages and defend against abuse, such as IP addresses in its request logs. Vercel's handling is described in the Vercel privacy policy.
Is there analytics or advertising?
No third-party analytics script is loaded; the only measurement is the anonymous count above. No advertising is served, so no advertising cookies are set. If that changes, this page and the advertising disclosure will name the network and explain how to opt out first.
What happens when I follow a download link?
Download links go to github.com, Microsoft's winget catalogue and the Microsoft Store, and other links go to windirstat.net and the vendors a guide discusses. Those sites have their own privacy policies. WinDirStat itself scans files on your PC and sends nothing to Disk Space Analyzer.
What are my rights?
Because the site holds no personal data about visitors, there is nothing to access, correct or delete. Requests about Vercel's processing go to Vercel. Questions about this policy: contact. The site is not directed at children and knowingly collects no data from anyone.
